The latest update on my sister in law

I'm sorry I haven't been updating any sooner but I'm on a rollercoaster and don't know if I'm coming or going! Ellen is still in very critical condition! She may require 2 surgeries in the next day and my husband has to leave to go back to work no later than Thursday. Pete and Jim (hubbies) are meeting with her doc right now to figure out what to do next. If things are going to go bad then I'm going to replace my husband but if she's still stable and no change then I will wait until she gets better or gets worse before I go. She still needs your prayers deprately....today is #11 in CICU and in an induced coma.

Quick update......

Ellen is still in critical condition and in surgery to remove some tissue that is dieing. I don't really know the prognoses and I don't think my husband does either. Her husband and mine are supposed to meet with the doctor in about 4 hrs and hopefully we'll know more. We're praying for a miracle ! Please continue to pray!

Ellen update......

Thanks so much for everyone who is praying for her. She's not out of the woods yet which is really scarey! They're trying one more thing hoping it will do the trick and get her back on track but we won't know the affects till tomorrow. Thanks again for your prayers and please keep praying!

Please pray for my family today!

My SIL is in the cardiac ICU in Tampa , Fl in critical condition due to severe health problems. My husband got there this morning and is with her and her husband for support but she needs lots and lots of prayers to pull through this so if you don't mind please pray! Her name is Ellen.

I finally took the plunge and painted my Dining room a daring color!

I've been wanting to paint an accent wall for so long but I wanted it in a red hue so I toughened up went to Lowe's and the very first color I picked I went with. It's called National Historic Spanish Tile. When I first put it on I was so scared because it looked almost magenta but after the second coat and of course with the drying time I fell in love with it! It looks a little lighter in the pix than it really is but you can get the general idea. Even my hubby likes it as well as my boys :) Now I feel like I need to re-paint my whole house!!

A gift box............

I bought Lauren Meader's template from Papertrey Ink and used the pattern to make a gift box. This was such a fun project! I used retired SU! paper and then satin brown ribbon to tie around the box like a package. I don't know what I'm doing with it yet......heck I may keep it for myself since it's so cute! The picture really doesn't do it justice it looks so much better in person :)

Happy Fathers Day husbands!

I wanted to share with you the Father's Day card I made my sweet hubby. He hasn't seen it yet and I hope he likes it. I used my Cheers to you set from SU! and then liquid applique and of course my favorite embelishments...Dew Drops. Other items used were ribbon and the paper piercer. All paper is SU except for the stripe which I bought at Tuesday Mornings.

One more card for today.......

I've got to say I'm in love with this paper from Doodlebug! I bought also every piece of there new line! It's just so yummy! Ok, here's another card with the same layout as below but with different paper. The package stamp is SU and Happy Bday is also SU. Again I used my souffle pen for the white polka dots and then a green one on the package as well as yellow around the circle. The big oval punch is also SU. Hope you like it :)
